I have had her for about a year, she had a new floor and some minor mechanical work done before I got her, but was not a runner. I picked her up from the Isle of White and got her home to Bath, where the work began. Loads of work on the engine followed by chrome kit. Lowered front and rear. Respray, she was yellow, but it was faded and taty. Cleaned and sealed underneath. New carpets and head liner, and a stereo build. Things to do next, well I am taking out the back seat and installing an ice build with big speakers, she is getting a 1999 2Ltr Porsche engine in the summer, and I have bucket seats to fit when I get the time. I have always wanted a Beetle, and when I found her I just had to have her. She is my every day runner to and from work, and we have had loads of hours up and down the length of the UK.
