Trevor's 1970 Beetle
I live in Coventry England and own what I think the best bug around these parts. I have owned my 1970 for about five years now and I try to attend as many shows as possible. It currently runs a 1300 recon engine which is as sweet as a nut, I have also slammed it to the ground front and back with 205 rubber on the centerline alloys, they clear the edge of the wings by 1" ( ouch ). I have also trimmed the interior with the full leather look with imported seats side panels, a trick big foot pedal, leather steering wheel and Empi shifter. Also giant household speakers behind the rear seat hidden under the custom parcel shelf and a kickin' head unit in the glove box. Finally the addition of some yank number plates front and back . Future modifications will be front disk brake conversion. Off to Newquay in the summer with my mates on a safari in July in the bug, does life get much better?
