Isn't she cute! I wanted a bug my whole life, its the first car I can remember wanting. I was supposed to get my brothers '73 handed down to me when I started driving but he moved to Hawaii six months before my sixteenth birthday and decided he needed to take it with him, (neither one of them ever came back). I finally needed a third car this year since my daughter turned seventeen and is driving, so I went out and bought my bug. It only took me 39 years!

I am only the third owner, the first owner had her 16 years in California, the second owner bought her there and eventually ended up in Oregon and he had her for 17 years. But he just had one too many toys and it didnt fit the family anymore, and decided reluctantly to sell her. But we became great friends and he still keeps tabs on what Im doing to her. Everything is original except a new engine about 20k ago, but the interior was in great shape for never being redone. I gave her a new paint job and updated to a cd player with new speakers, but the rest of her is in great shape. I am going to order replacement bumpers this week because they are a little rusty, and then Im pretty much done. Thanks for putting her picture on the website, I just love my bug.
