Meet my 1964 Beetle. His name is Bubu and has the marvelous gift to make people smile and to bring good friends together. You may also find him and his friends on www.broscar-zapacit.go.ro. There are much more things to be felt then to be said about having, loving, or just wishing to have a Beetle. His story might be long and full of adventures, in this 40 years that he lived. What I know about him is that he must have seen many places and traveled a lot, since he was really tired when I found him. Later, I found out that he was abandoned of his owner for some years. I needed to change a lot of parts of the motor, transmission and suspension. At the beginning there was much more time we spent with repairing then riding. He provided me the opportunity to learn a lot of things about how it works and what he needs. I have owned my Beetle since 3 years; I dedicated it a lot of my time and I am happy for every minute I spent with it.
