Just finished this 1976 Super Beetle Convertible. It was found under a tarp two years ago. The car had to be completely rewired using the exciting wire loom. It was completely removed and reinstalled. I removed the stock dash and installed a custom fiberglass unit. The interior was purchased from California Pacific. All new seat padding was installed and the car got a good going over with the mig welder correct and past years mishaps. The complete install including carpeting took me about one day. The motor is completely detailed to the "T". I installed webers ict34's, they really work great! I also installed a header exhaust. I sprayed the car Ford ruby red, this was the only maroon color that winked at me. I installed early type bumpers with a set of Hella fog lights. The trunk is completely carpeted and chrome stock wheels were added all around. Well, what more can I say, I love the car! -Matt About us | Contact | Events | Forum | History | Home | Images | Interactive | Links | Tech |
