Len's 1979 Super Vert

I bought a brand new Super Beetle Sun Bug in 1973. If memory serves me, I paid $3300.00. Talk about sweet! I don't know why, but I ended up trading it in for a 1972 Cadillac Sedan de Ville. Talk about a stupid move. I kept the Caddie for about a month then traded it for 1972 Porsche 914. That was a fun ride. I lost my license in a month from speeding tickets. Unfortunately it got totaled when a fuel delivery truck didn't see me coming and decided not to stop at a stop sign. The 914 didn't stand a chance. There has been many cars since my first, a Beetle '68, and here I am back full circle with the '79 vert.
