I bought it the day after I passed my test in September 2003. The people I bought it off used it as a daily driver. It looked in very good condition and I thought it would be great car to modify if I started with a solid car like this one. I drove it around standard for a while until the funds came in and then went and bought the wheels and tires. I was given the running boards and bumpers and then the stereo system went in. I installed 1-10inch sub, 1-12inch sub, 2-6x9's, Kenwood head unit hidden away from thieves in the glove box, Alpine amp, all installed in my sisters old wardrobe door!

The speedometer cable snapped the day I got it! The only thing other that I've had done to it is to replace the clutch that exploded and put a hole in the gearbox after a couple of weeks of driving it. The previous owner had miss-fitted the release bearing and that shot out of the side of the bell housing in the middle of Leicester, which wasn't pleasant! But now it's running sweet.
