This is my '64 Bug "NellyBelle". I am the "2 1/2 owner"... I bought her in June, 2004 and spent 6 months restoring her myself. She had been owned by the same grandmother in Phoenix, Arizona from 1964 until 2002, and garaged by the second owner until I got her. She was a sundried old hag and pretty grungy inside and out, but mostly intact and original, and still 6 volt. I get lots of "thumbs up" signs, and comments whenever I buzz around town. Now I'm looking for an older Bus to work on.
