 Joey's 1971 Super Beetle

This clean Beetle was Bought in June of 1999, from the widow of an elderly man who had a collection of cars. This road ravaged beast came with a whopping 7,500 original miles on it. Not exactly a daily driver in its early days. Owner modifications include a set of polished Empi 8 spokes with a EMPI limited edition shifter doing the gear selection work out back. The inside sports a full interior by TMI. Engine is the original power plant with a Pertronic points and a new muffler. All new parts have been replaced with New Old Stock components. Smoothing out the bumps are KYB units in back, and the original struts up front. He has also added a nice sound system  while keeping the original radio in place. Rounding out the mods is a  custom "POUPON" license plate.  Plans include a Sony 12 disc changer in the trunk.   The owner plans on using the Super for daily driving on "pretty days". With a cream puff like this, who can blame him?
