Janet's 1974 Super Beetle

This is my 1974 Super Beetle here is Riverside County , California. My Dad owned a new beetle every year from 1962 to 1964, I only can remember the 63 and 64 as I was only 3 and 4 years old back then. Well forty years later I finally got my own Beetle. This beetle had bad bushings and ball joints, I replaced them all by myself and installed used Empi wheels on it and new Brazilian made tires. I bought the beetle for $1,000 and so far spent $1,000 in parts (new Hella tail lamps, struts, shocks, mirrors, 009, Accu-fire , etc.) plus I bought and installed by myself a $400 aftermarket rag top by street beat to customize this Super.
