Daniel's 1973 Super Beetle

My 1973 Super Beetle, "Gunter", is a bit of an enigma. "He" more-closely resembles a 1972 year Super, yet the title says "1973". I bought this car after months, and months, and months of searching online, chasing down leads all over Michigan plus endless hoping. I have, like so many others, always been a great lover of the old air-cooled Flat Fours that VW had once made. I of course say, "once made" since the last of the lot rolled off of the line at VW Mexico only this past year (sigh). Not that I could afford a brand new Mexi-Beetle, mind! My sweet heart and I both work in the Service Industries, so money is as tight for us as it is for the U.S. all the way around!
