My name's
Carl Bremner, I'm 17 and from Leicester in England. I own a 1973
1303S Beetle by the name of Bertie! I bought him for £900
& I've roughly spent an extra £400 on him over summer
on spray jobs, welding, parts etc. I did a lot of work myself but
I knew very little about mechanics or body repair but I was keen
to learn and learnt from mistakes. I've loved Beetles for as long
as I can remember and I can't wait until I pass my test so I can
