The red VW is a1968, semiautomatic, engine 1500, Belgian beetle. I restored it in 1999 and sold recently. The blue VW is a 1970, engine 1500 and also semiautomatic. I bought the Beetle last March and started 2 days later with the "body-off" restoration. It took me 3 months or +/- 550 hours to restore, each day a couple of hours. It's an imported VW from Germany and fully restored . The color is an original VW color used on American Beetles only : River Blue metallic or so they told me, don't now yet if it's true. Still the original engine, found it on the original vw documents. It's very rare to have documents like these here in Belgium. Not many people have seen them before.
