June 19, 2010: OMAHA VOLKSWAGEN CLUB Silver Anniversary VW Show and Shine. Gretna, Nebraska. One of the Largest in the Midwest. All Water & Air Cooled Dubbers & Audi’s Welcome.

Our 2010 show on June 19th will be held at Nebraska Crossings Outlet Mall, I-80 exit 432, in Gretna, Neb. Registration from 8 am to 11 am, Air Cooled and Water Cooled Participant Judged Classes. Awards presentation around 4 pm. Hot VW magazine covered our 2009 show saying it is truly a fun, kicked back event that is definitely worth attending. Water Cooled & Air Cooled Best of Show Awards!

VW Camping all weekend long at the KOA just ¾ mile from the show site on the other side of the highway. Friday night camp fire festivities including a bring your own cook out. July 31, 2010: 2010 Summer Jam: Point Fermin Park, 807 Paseo Del Mar, San Pedro, CA, 90731 USA. The location is beautiful Point Fermin Park, adjacent to the historical San Pedro Lighthouse, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with Catalina Island as a backdrop. Pt. Fermin is located at 807 Paseo Del Mar in the peaceful town of San Pedro, Ca. All within walking distance to the Korean Bell and the Fort MacArthur Military Museum.There is plenty of shade and a few picnic tables. First come, first served.The event is free to the public. It’s a great time to bring along your family for a fun filled day.

Roll in time is 6:00am to 10:00am. YOU MUST ROLL IN TOGETHER IF YOU WANT TO PARK TOGETHER. Show times are 11:00am to 4:00pm. All voting ballots must be completed and turned in no later than 1:00pm. No exceptions. Trophies will be awarded. Categories to be determined. You’re allowed to BBQ so bring those burgers and hot dogs and maybe a little pollo & carne asada chips and sodas.
